NEW RELEASES MARCH 2010

Intermission

Just when you thought I'd lost myself in the Baltimore Underground Music Scene, I turn it all around.  It's time to check out something a little more ecclectic and surreal like the UK's Intermission.

I've always loved London Techno regardless of the year it was created.  To this day, it generally seems to be more melodic and rhythmic than some of its stateside counterparts.

What's so different about Intermission?  It's illusive members and strange record label for starters.  Weedspell isn't your average label name.  Intermission's sound isn't average either.  The 'band' seems happy to provide seekers with a musical taste online, but they don't like to let the 'cat out of the bag' until their projects are complete.

I'm curious about Dean Heslop and his secretive world.  Is Dean the only member of Intermission?  How many members are there?  These are the things you'd think would be easy to answer, but they're not.

In either case, I like the music.  I shall hold my tongue on his choice of marketing techniques.  Check him out.  You just might like.
